Lynn Bains, a transplanted American, has lived and worked in Scotland for over thirty years. Multi-talented, she has made her mark in many areas: as a highly respected acting teacher/director and Head of Acting at Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh for 15 years, as a writer and director, as an actor, and as Scotland’s foremost American accent/dialect coach. And she can actually do the accents!
She is co-founder of Stellar Quines Theatre company and directed its first production, “Night Sky” in 1993. In its fourteenth year, this unique women-led theatre company is still flourishing.
Based in Edinburgh, Lynn has retired from full-time teaching to pursue her flourishing free lance career.
